TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR PRACTICE

In the Aerial Yoga Life course, you’ll be going through a 25-day structured program. Each day's purpose is to be a building block on the previous day's practice and is categorized into one of the following:


BOOTCAMP

The first 10 days of the course we will be focusing on building strength so that you can get used to the hammock and build the strength needed to try out the incrementally harder skills you'll be practicing later on in the course. This will be a different layout to the free version of the bootcamp. You will have a video class workout to complete for each Bootcamp day.

SKILLS

These are probably the most exciting days where you get access to a whole lot of information. On each Skill day you will be going through: a warm up sequence, then going through an Air class. The Air class is where you learn 4-6 poses (that do not touch the ground > "Air") and then how to put them all together into a sequence. You will have 2 classes to complete as a minimum for each Skills day, plus numerous pdf's and pose video tutorials.


LOW FLOW

On these days you'll be going through a low hammock class. These classes are probably my favorite as they weave in restorative poses and movements which are really going to help you to stay motivated for the harder days and help to gently stretch out and restore sore muscles and tension in the body. You will have a video class to complete for each Low Flow day.


YOGA

I firmly believe that having a yoga practice is going to improve your aerial practice drastically. So for these days you will be using the ground beneath you for support instead of the hammock. You will have a video class to complete for each Yoga day.


REST

It is unrealistic to expect anyone to workout every single day. Even athletes need to take rest days. I have scheduled Rest Days throughout the course and explain in more detail on those days why they are so important. If you need more Rest days or want them on different days, feel free to make those changes. You will have written advice on how to optimize and restore your body for each Rest day.


WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

THE REASON I CREATED THIS COURSE

I started practicing Aerial Yoga in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2017. My husband and I were travelling Asia at the time and when we weren't in Chiang Mai where my regular classes were, I found it hard to figure out what and where to practice on my hammock in my own time.

I wished for a resource that could help me remember poses I had learnt in class and also give me ways to progress my practice, so I felt like I was always improving.

My passion and love for aerial yoga has sent me to studios all over the world, practicing with different teachers, styles and languages. It has helped me accumulate 300 hours of professional yoga and aerial yoga teacher training, plus 1 on 1, virtual and group teaching experience.

This course is the resource and guide I wanted for myself 3 years ago. It is a huge resource with 70+ written and video pose tutorials, and also a 25-day structured guide which gives a clear path of improvement for your Aerial Yoga practice.
